Up Dance Competition was founded by  Taylor Starr, a lifelong dancer, educator, and advocate committed to creating space for the next generation of performers to thrive. With eight years of experience as the Assistant Director of The Audience Dance Rivalry, Dr. Starr saw an opportunity to instill the importance of transferable skills in dance education beyond the stage.
